Description

• This excursion will take you sky high to enjoy a unique experience, as you encounter the highest peak in Spain: El Teide.
  
  We will begin to ascend until we reach 2,370 m. above sea level. During the tour we will pass through different landscapes with wonderful views and traditional villages. We will cross the forest of Canarian pine until we reach Las Cañadas del Teide, where you will begin to understand that Tenerife is an island of contrasts.
  
  Along the route we will make some stops so you can admire everything that this natural space offers. It was declared a National Park in 1954 with the aim of protecting this landscape of incredible beauty and great ecological value.
  
  Later we will go to the base of the cable car where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Ucanca Valley.
  
  Optionally you can take the Teide Cable Car to La Rambleta station, located at 3550m, where you will be a few meters from the highest peak in Spain.
  
  We will carry on and cross one of the largest 'Calderas' in the world (volcanic features). We will visit the Roques de García, where you will see one of the most emblematic images of Tenerife, as well as other stunning features of the National Park. Finally, we will begin to return, descending and leaving behind the Teide National Park to return to the points of origin.

  Excursion Starts (aproximately):
  
  At 8:00h from Puerto de la Cruz. 
  
  At 8:25h and 13:00h from Los Cristianos ( South Area).
  
  At 11:00h from Santa Cruz.
  
  Schedule of pick-ups according to hotel of the client.
  
  Duration: approximately 5 hours. 
  
  Note: The tour starts once all participants are on the bus.
  
  IMPORTANT:
  To access the cable car you need to buy a ticket in advance of the excursion.
  From Monday 17th June 2019 , for logistical reasons, it will not be possible to buy a ticket for the cable car once the excursion has started.
  If you want to include the cable car ride on the Teide Half Day Excursion you must buy the ticket when you book the excursion.
  
  Important Note:  Teide Cable Car tickets for children 3-13 years old.
  
  Restrictions: People with heart problems, pregnant women, and children under 3 are not allowed to ascend by Cable Car due to the risk that high altitude poses to their health.

  A máximum of 2 wheelchairs per bus.
  
  Priority seats on the front of the bus.
  
  The degree of disability must allow the person to get on the bus assisted by an accompanying person.
